If you know Megan and Alex then you know the true definition of strength, courage and fight! Nothing has ever been easy and through it all they have never asked anyone for help! That includes paying for a $20,000 surgery that insurance would not cover back in 2006 and continued health issues for Megan! She has fought and beat cancer, and ALL of the odds against her the last 15 years!

Last week Megan had her 35th surgery, yes you read that correctly, 35! I don’t know anyone who has had that many surgeries and is still standing! She has been told she is a true medical miracle!

As you know medical insurance likes to dictate treatment and decide what they want to cover leaving hard working people with huge medical bills! What is even worse, some doctors will not see you until you pay your bill! Megan and Alex are always helping everyone and do it from the kindness of their hearts without ever asking for anything in return!

I know personally that Megan (and have witnessed) would give the shirt off her back or her last dollar to someone who needed it!! 15 years is a long time to deal with illness and trying to work just to pay an absurd amount of money for what insurance won’t cover is just too much. Also “payment plans” don’t help when the bills total more than a years salary! Let’s help relieve the stress and pressure from these two so they can catch a much needed break!!! Megan didn’t want to put her business out there, she didn’t even want to ask for help, so I am taking this into my own hands and asking for you all to please help much deserving people who have done and still would do the same for all of you!!
