Megan, Ryan, and Ava House Fire Fund
Donation protected
On Monday, 11/13, our sister Megan got a call from her husband Ryan that their house was on fire. By the time the firefighters put it out, the roof and second floor had collapsed. They have absolutely nothing left. Their 4 month old daughter (my amazing niece) Ava made it out with Ryan, and their dog Bodhi survived as well, but Megan’s dog Bentley didn’t make it out. They were left with nothing but the clothes that were on their backs that day. Everything else…clothes, cookwear, furniture, valuables, baby supplies, dog supplies, and most importantly a stable place to live...is all gone.
It feels surreal to even be writing this, but this is the reality that they are currently facing. We (Lauren and Ashleigh, Megan's younger sisters) are putting together a GoFundMe to help support them in this truly devastating time. Setting a goal value seems arbitrary when you have lost everything. But right now the focus is on getting temporary housing, clothes, food, and essentials for Meg and Ryan to help get them through the next few months of uncertainty, as well as clothes and supplies for their daughter Ava. Although they do have insurance, it will be a while before it kicks in and they have that support in place. If you feel so inclined, any amount would truly help to support them during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
