My name is Michelle Janczewski and my best friend has had her world flipped upside down this past year. Megan held her baby girl as she watched her take her last breath. This strong mom now has to plan little Kinley’s funeral. Life is too short.
I am fundraising to help this amazing mom, daughter, friend and sister; Not only with upcoming medical bills and funeral cost but to allow Megan and her family to take a break and go out to a nice dinner. To slow down and not have to worry for a little while. To buy Myla and Harley a gift just because someone is thinking of them.
Megan has two kids at home and is super mom. She was put on bed rest for two months which she could not work while pregnant with twins. Life is crazy but this is one strong mom. She is a RN with her masters and working towards a higher degree. Nothing will stop her and shewould never ask for help even in the toughest situations.
Megan has been so strong and keeping everyone informed is hard. Her Journey has been challenging to say the least. She updates on facebook when she could... on October 30th.
“So I normally don’t post a lot of personal information on Facebook but I feel like I can finally provide an update. Our twins were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome which left the twins with only a 5-10% survival rate if no intervention was done. Monday Jesse and I drove to children’s Hospital of Cincinnati in hopes of qualifying for Selective Fetoscopic Laser Photocoagulation surgery. This surgery is very rare and I was only a candidate for two places in the U.S. due to anterior lying placenta. The twins and I had surgery Wednesday morning and the surgery was prolonged due to a number of complications. The twins both survived surgery and now due to complications, I am being kept on strict bed rest inpatient. Jesse helped me get transferred and settled into another hospital and made it back home to take care of my Myla girl and Harley. I am staying optimistic that I will be discharged Monday and hopefully can stay on bed rest at home where I can at least see my kids. So far, this journey has been challenging both mentally and physically. I truly cannot thank the people enough who have reached out to me in the last week (I’m still working on messaging everyone back) Our goal is to keep my little ladies on the inside until 28 weeks”
To end 2020
“After 64 days bedrest (18 days inpatient) our girls decided to end 2020 with a bang... Kenza Mae and Kinley Marie decided to make their grand entrance on 12-29-20 (also Mylas birthday).”
AND their Journey as a family will continue, no matter how difficult and emotional.
I (Michelle) am doing this go fund me because sometimes it takes a community of support in uncontrollable situations.
For traveling back and forth to Milwaukee Children’s Hospital during a Pandemic. Please help my best friend and her amazing little family as they grieve the loss of their baby Kinley. Prayers for Kenza <3
I love you Megan, Jesse, Myla, Harley, Kinley and Kenza.
Love always,
