On 27th April 2024, our Caithness Boxing Club family was devastated to lose one of our most valued members and dear friend — Megan Mackay ❤️

Megan was an inspiration to everyone around her — dedicated, disciplined, determined, fierce in the ring, yet with a heart of pure gold. She’s spoken about at every training session and missed deeply every single day. ❤️

During her illness, Megan received incredible care from the team at Raigmore Critical Care Unit. The compassion shown to Megan and her loved ones is something we’ll never forget — and now we want to give something back in her honour.

This November, several of our members have pledged to complete 400 two-minute rounds each (sparring, bag work & drills!) to raise funds for Raigmore CCU, helping provide comfort and support for families waiting on news of their loved ones.

It’s a tough challenge — but with Megan’s memory driving us, we’ll get it done.
