Megan is a 27 year old who always put's others before her needs and graduated with her LVN license in 2016, shes a single mom to a wonderful and amazing 6 year old little boy. In early April of 2019, Megan felt two lumps in her right breast and immediately called the doctors, she had a biopsy on April 19th, 2019 and on April 22nd, 2019 she got the call that she was in fact positive for Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a type of breast cancer. They believe the cancer is a stage two and will find out for certain when she undergoes a double mastectomy on May 23rd, 2019

     Megan has already had appointments with surgeons, oncologists, and an infertility specialist who advised her to freeze her eggs, which will cost $5,000 alone even with help through other organizations. The bill for pathology just arrived which will cost her $1,320. Over the next few months more bills are expected to pile on. Megan is not one to ask for help or to even let you know she's anything outside of "doing alright", that's why I jumped in to ask for help on her behalf. Any money raised will go directly to Megan to help her pay for bills and help supplement her living expenses while she may need to take time off of work to care for her own illnesses. Anyone who's been through cancer, either themselves or a loved one, will tell you the last thing you need to worry about at a time like this is how to make ends meet.
