Megan Jordan with monthly bills during 2 brain surgeries

Hi, my name is Justice Warren and I am fundraising for my dear friend Megan has five brain tumours. The surgeon’s will need to do two surgeries on the two big ones and pinpoint radiation on the smaller ones.

ones. First surgery is September 5th and if all goes well, it will be at least a six week recovery before they can do the second surgery to remove the other large one. Megan is a CNA and hasn’t been able to work because of the side effects of the growing tumour's. I asked her if she would please write me something that could better explain it than my own words. Please pray for my friend especially on September 5 and share this so that we may help her and Tattoo be able to pay their bills and that she can concentrate on healing instead of the worry of how they will pay their bills. Like many families, it takes both their incomes to make the ends meet. $18,000.00 should cover six months living expenses. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

What a long strange trip it's been. Tattoo (Michael Jordan) and I (Megan Gibbons) have always taken the road less traveled. We finally have found each other and happiness and now we/I am facing another huge health challenge.

For me, the health issues started when I was 6 years old. I survived a rare type of cancerous brain tumor. I'm told I was the 6th documented person/child to face this. I went through surgery, chemo and lots of radiation to the tumor site in my brain.

Now, they suspect the radiation treatments that saved me then is essentially killing me now. I have developed 5 or more mengioma tumors, likely caused by the radiation that saved me as a child.

Two of these tumors are already large enough to cause problems. I am loosing my strength on a daily basis and the use and sensation in my left arm, this is also starting to affect my left leg.

The 2 large tumors have to be surgically removed. Due to the location, 2 separate surgeries. The 1st surgery is the most complicated and risky. The tumor currently causing symptoms has crossed the sides of my brain and the main vein in the center of my brain. There is a huge risk of bleeding, etc. The 2nd surgery is also complicated. That tumor is near the part of my brain that essentially controls movement. The smaller tumors will be treated with a single "zap" of pinpoint radiation.

If the tumors aren't treated, they will kill me. The neurosurgeon also has concerns that these tumors will continue to reoccur.

Needless to say I will be unable to work for a considerable amount of time. Best case 3 months off, but so many unknowns.

Any help you can offer will help us keep a roof over our heads and our car running to get to all of these appointments in the valley.
