Hello friends. On June 17th, my dear friend Megan began feeling unwell, and being 26 weeks pregnant, she went to the hospital where she lives in Wexford, PA. Megan’s blood pressure was astronomically high due to infection/vascular issues in her placenta, and an emergency c-section ensued within an hour. Baby Madelyn was delivered and immediately life flighted to West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Megan was then taken via ambulance to West Penn to be with her baby. Madelyn is currently in the NICU at West Penn, as she came into this world 3 months and 1 week early! Megan, Jim, and Madelyn have a long road ahead of them (not to mention their 2-year-old, JJ!). Please consider donating, as this will help with life flight and ambulance fees, NICU care, and gas, as they have to travel 1/2 hour from their home to the hospital where Madelyn is fighting.
