Megan Goes to Israel

Hey fam/ friends! I have the incredible opportunity through my school, Denver Seminary, to study in Israel and Jordan this summer. This educational course will open up the biblical world as we study where the Old Testament prophets, New Testament disciples, and Jesus lived and ministered. We will be led through the holy land by some of the leading biblical scholars of our day! By departure time this May, I will have been studying the biblical languages of Hebrew (2 years) and Greek (1 year) along with both Old Testament, New Testament, and theology courses.

I am SO excited to place my hand on the carved rock where the ancient texts I have been translating into English were discovered (Hezekiah's Tunnel). I believe this course will be a life-changing experience and will enrich my future ministry as I study God's word and learn more about the time and place in which it was written. I would be so grateful for your partnership in this educational, spiritual, and ministerial journey!

I am looking to raise $9000 for the course tuition, accommodation for 6 weeks, and airfare by February 1st, 2020. So, if you are looking for what to get me for Christmas or my birthday this year- this is it! :-) Ha.
