Megan, beloved front line helper, needs our help!
Megan Turner is a community treasure, and now she and her family need assistance. Resident of the Willamette Valley for 24 years, Megan has always worked in service to others, starting with displaced adolescents, then with individuals, children and families, to the present day. As a tele-therapist, Megan worked through the shut-down, holding space for others' Covid fears, stress and grief while coping with her own. Megan's big, beautiful heart and loving wisdom has helped countless people. It's time for us to give back.
Recently, Megan has become afflicted with a series of health impacts. These include a heart attack, Atrial Fibrillation, heart failure and recently she was diagnosed with kidney disease. This is in addition to chronic arthritis and joint pain which Megan has coped with quietly for many years.
Megan has spent time in the hospital and has needed many procedures and tests. The bills are piling up and Megan and Mark are struggling to keep up against the backdrop of missed work and no paid sick leave. In addition to assistance with bills and groceries, Megan needs some mobility and medical equipment, such as a wheelchair and an arm cycle so she can keep up with her exercise plan.
Please help if you can, so Megan can continue to help others!
