Megan and her daughter need your help

Megan was recently diagnosed with LSS and a bulging disk

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS) is an anatomic condition that includes narrowing the intraspinal (central) canal. LSS causes discomfort, often limiting activities of daily living, and can lead to progressive disability. At the same time, pain and disability contribute to decreased quality of life.

In the past few months, Megan developed lower back pain that would shoot down her legs, causing her to fall to her knees. She was unable to walk 10 ft. Since then, she has been put on disability by her doctor and unable to work. Her benefits have run out, and she can barely make rent and support herself and her daughter.

She is still waiting for her referral to the neurologist.

Megan is my best friend, the most loving and giving person I know. She is a single mom of a beautiful daughter. They live in a one-bedroom apartment, which is all that she can afford for both of them.

Even though she struggles financially, she is always willing to help others in need.

So, please help me give back to this unique individual that has gone through more struggles than I can count on both hands.

She needs our help to pay for all the therapy that can help her pain management for the moment. While she waits for her consult with the neurologist, along with groceries and bills.

I have known Megan for more than seven years, we work together, and I have stood beside her during her most challenging times. It has not been easy on her. And I would like to see her thrive and succeed in life.
