Meg & Jerod’s New Beginning Set Fire

On May 6th my sister Meg and her fiancé Jerod expected to wake up and board a plane to Oregon for their first vacation as an engaged couple.

Instead Jerod woke to flashing lights at 4:30AM, waking Meg: “we have to get out now”.

Flames started on the neighbor’s 2nd floor apartment above.

Water and smoke destroyed nearly everything they own. They’d just finished setting up their first apartment together.

Anything helps get this couple back on their feet. Sweetest two you’ll meet. We’re grateful they’re okay.
