Help Lincoln Get Better

Sunday, November 13, 2021, my grandson, Lincoln Walker, 4 years old, very suddenly became incredibly ill. Those of us who know Lincoln know that he never gets sick. Still, he was admitted to Texas Children's Hospital the next day with what we were told was Rhabdomyolysis. His urine looked like nothing but blood for a full 24 hours while in the hospital. Tons of tests have been run & they have found that he has an Autoimmune Disorder called PCH as well as a cyst on one of his kidneys. He remained in the hospital, hooked to machines & receiving medicine for several days. He was doing better & eventually allowed to go home. Unfortunately, later that very same evening, he had to be readmitted to the hospital after his fever returned. It looks as if he'll be there for awhile as his fever is still climbing and more tests need to be run.

His family is asking for prayers for Lincoln's full recovery firstly, but his mother, Shayne Harper & his little sister are now missing work & daycare to be with & care for Lincoln. Shayne is the only provider for her little family of 3 & working or not, illness or not, the bills keep coming. This is obviously putting an incredible financial & emotional strain on her, when all she's focused on right now is being strong & supportive for her son. Her daughter is not allowed at the hospital & so her sister Morgan, is keeping her in the meantime.

We are using this platform to give friends & family who'd like to help, the opportunity to maybe share a little kindness. This would be so helpful with bills, diapers, meals, gas for mom to & from the hospital, etc. If you're unable to give Lincoln's family this kind of support right now, no worries.
