Update 27th June 2024

Hi everyone, here is our first update following the 'wrap' on filming for Meeting Point. The week of filming went brilliantly with the crew and cast taking advantage of some great weather and beautiful sets over the course of some very long days.

Our locations varied from Redditch to Brean beach and we have been very lucky enough through the skill of director George S. Evans and a talented cast of actors, to start the process of making something special. Below you'll see some of the shots and teaser pics of some of the scenes from Meeting Point.

Now the real hard work begins. George along with several other editors including our colourist and composer, will piece together the action and give the film the extra special touches that turn it into an awe inspiring visual, and emotional treat.

We still very much need your help to get it over the line and we will be amending a couple of offers as well as adding a couple more to try and get you on board.

Getting the movie in front of as many people as possible is key to Missing Point's success so we are looking at options as to where we could hold the prestigious and glamorous premiere!

Any donations are extremely appreciated and will only make this project the best it can be. Thanks for taking a look and we hope you like the first few sneak peaks of what we've made so far.

The Story

Andy, a broken man, is in physical and mental torment as he tries to deal with personal trauma. Unsure where his life is leading him, a chance encounter with a struggling single mother provides them both with a chance to share their stories and comprehend how fate has brought them to this place, this meeting point. #ChooseYourFate

What will the funds be invested in?

Hopefully, if you're reading this you're either someone new to film or someone experienced in the film industry and understand the expenses which are required for such a project!

For Meeting Point, we want to get the public, professionals, and creatives on board to be part of the journey and enable us to make something special. Below are just a few of the things that donating will help go towards...

COSTUME / PROPS - Meeting Point is set in contemporary times and so it's important to have authentic costumes and props that can help in creating a believable and emotional film. We will require various unique items including specially purposed vehicles.

CREATIVES - We once again hope to get amazingly talented people on board from across the world who can work remotely in helping to deliver a polished final product in post-production. This will donation will include funding for our Musical Composer and Colourist. English Rose won award the award for Best Cinematography and Best Original Score at the New Jersey Film Awards and we would like to emulate that once more!

FESTIVALS - We are hoping to submit Meeting Point to film festivals up and down the country as well as across the world once it is completed. This will help to share our art with a larger audience. These festivals come at a cost which we hope this funding budget will help cover.

TRAVEL - Meeting Point is set to be filmed almost entirely in the Midlands area and therefore we will need funding to support this for expenses including the cast who are from around the UK.

PRODUCTION OF REWARDS- All rewards for this funding campaign will be produced using the funds as well using local companies where possible to further invest in the Midlands economy.
