If your lucky enough to know Melany , than this post might come as a shock to you because she is one of the most giving , selfless, smart mouthed Mamas I know . Sometimes we all need a little extra help and she’s usually the one to give. This time around it’s her turn to receive.

Recently , it was discovered the Melany’s living situation needed a change. It’s time for her , two amazing kiddos and two loyal doggos to have a home all to themselves. As we all know, this is not an easy feat especially for a single mom in Sonoma County . Nonetheless, Melany is up for the challenge and will continue to be a super Mama by providing for all four mouths . It’s just who she is.

Fast forward to 8/12/22 when her youngest son Markus, 13 spiked a high fever. Tests revealed that he was in need of a blood transfusion and received multiple units. Once he was stable he was transferred to an out of town hospital better staffed with specialists . It was there it that it was discovered that he has an auto-immune disease that will require infusions bi-weekly, monthly then every other month for the next couple of years. This equates to added bills for travel such as hotels and meals. Not to mention all of the out of pocket medical bills and co-payments.

Markus, like his mama is a phenomenal kid. He is an A plus student and athlete. During his hospital stay in a true selfless fashion he said that he’d like to do something in the future for the children in the hospital because they shouldn’t be there . He’s right , they shouldn’t . And either should he .

Today I come to you on Melany’s behalf asking for any donations towards their new journey ahead. All funds will go directly to Melany to use as she sees fit.
