Hello,

My name is Motasem. I’m a father from Gaza, trying to survive and protect my one-and-a-half-year-old son—born at the start of this devastating war.

Before the conflict, I had a job and lived a simple, stable life. But the war changed everything. I lost my home, my job, and many people I love. I now carry heavy debts and live with constant fear and uncertainty.

Right now, we survive only through the kindness of others.

The stress and trauma have severely affected my health. I’m under treatment for a nerve condition caused by the ongoing psychological pressure. Some days, even getting food or medicine for my child feels impossible.
