Meet Bobby and Karen...They Need Your Help!

Hi, my name is Patricia, and I am fundraising for Karen and Bobby, the nicest and kindest couple you will ever meet. They are hardworking, amazing people who would never ask anything of anyone, and they would give you the shirt off their backs...

Here's why they need your help. Things were going well. They were working hard and living their lives, trudging the road of happy destiny, happily married for more than 30 years. About 10 months ago, their lives were turned upside down as they heard those dreaded words: IT'S CANCER. Karen was diagnosed with Melanoma on her nose and needed to have surgery to remove it. She has since had several surgeries with more required as the Cancer has not yet been able to be entirely removed. After completely removing it, she will need a complete reconstruction of her nose, which will also take several surgeries.

Bobby, being the fantastic and devoted husband that he is, has stepped up and been working as a driver from early morning until late in the evening every day of the week just to make ends meet. Unfortunately, it has not been enough for them to sustain their household since Karen cannot work. They ran through their savings, their house was sold in a short sale, and they are now homeless, living in a very basic motel, struggling to get into an apartment of their own and not able to get enough cash together to do that. Since they live in the NYC area, it is very expensive to get into any apartment. One apartment after another is being swooped up before their eyes as they struggle to put the money together. They need money to move into a new place of their own as quickly as possible, because the motel is very expensive and takes every penny they have. THEY NEED YOUR HELP!
