Baby Crook was found on the edge of a busy sidewalk, clearly in distress. It looked like he had given up—his little body overwhelmed by pain and suffering. A massive canker had taken over the right side of his face, leaving him unable to eat or drink. He was starving, dehydrated, and barely hanging on.
Thanks to a compassionate rescue, Crook received immediate medical care. With treatment and love, he slowly began to eat again. For a moment, it seemed like things were turning around.
But the journey wasn’t over.
The canker eventually dried and fell off, but it left behind a gaping hole and a severely misaligned beak. Despite everything, Crook has shown incredible strength. He’s already undergone his first surgery, but he still has a long road to recovery.
Crook is fighting hard. Will you fight with him?
