Our dear friend, auntie, dada and captain Meesh is turning 40 this year! To mark this milestone, Meesh dreams of celebrating her forty years of life with a year-long music tour across Tanzania. We want to make this dream a reality by gifting her a reliable Labda Kesho truck, so she can hit the road and share her music and stories with even more people!

If you've ever met Meesh, chances are you remember this encounter fondly. Her songs have become part of the soundtrack of our lives - from the timeless "Fundi Uko Wapi", you have likely danced to "Bajaji Kisses" , sang along "Simama" or became an honorary band member by playing the tambourine.

Buying Meesh a car means putting a sturdy Labda Kesho truck on the road - one that can traverse the mountains, cross river beds and plough through the bush! You know the roads, and you know that if you're in town when Labda Kesho is playing, you'll be there.

Meesh's birthday is on the 26th of May. We're running this fundraiser for just two weeks with the goal of buying the car in June. Before handing over the keys, we'll make sure it's in great shape, ready to hit the road!
