Medwards Pink Week 2025
Welcome to Medwards Pink Week Pink 2025! We are supporting the same charities as last year: Breast Cancer New, Maggie's, the Leanne Pero Foundation and Future Dreams.
We have many exciting events planned for you this year:
- Friday 24th / 31st Jan, 5pm, Medwards JCR: Pink Week Yarn Sessions: Crafting for a Cause! Join us for a cozy and creative crochet session as part of Pink Week! Together, we'll craft fun pink accessories—from adorable little breasts to quirky keepsakes—that you can gift to friends and loved ones as a beautiful reminder to practice regular breast self-examinations. FREE, no booking needed
- Tuesday 4th February, 8pm, Dome: Pink Week Formal Dinner Join us for an elegant evening of fine dining and heartfelt purpose in support of Pink Week, raising awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. Tickets: £12.48 (with a £1 surcharge for Pink Week)
- Wednesday 5th February, 6.30pm, PBH Lecture Theatre : Awareness Talk with with Dr. Susanna Unsworth Join us for an empowering and informative evening with Dr. Susanna Unsworth, a renowned women’s health specialist. You will learn how to perform breast self-examinations confidently; this is an apportunity to ask all your questions about menstrual health in a supportive space. FREE, no booking needed
- Thursday 6th February, 6pm, Long Room ‘La Vie en Rose’ Fashion Show Step into the spotlight of elegance and style at the Pink Week Fashion Show, interpreting the theme ‘La Vie en Rose’ while supporting the fight against breast cancer. Tickets: only £3 on FIXR (all proceedings go to charity)
- Friday 7th February: Karaoke night at Tit Hall (time and details to be confirmed).
