Medizinische Hilfe für die Ukraine

seit der Nacht zum 24. Februar 2022 ist in der Ukraine nichts wie es einmal war. Die Welt ist erschüttert über die Invasion Russlands in der Ukraine. Kämpfe in der Hauptstadt Kiew dauern an und weitere ukrainische Städte sind unter Beschuss. Es herrscht Krieg mitten in Europa und für uns sogar Krieg in der Heimat. Ukraine ist der Ort an dem wir Familie und Bekannte haben, die wir lieben.

 

Da jetzt vor allem die Logistik leidet, wichtige Medikamente und medizinische Utensilien fehlen, werden Operationen verschoben und Notfälle nicht richtig behandelt. Auch die Notfallversorgung über kommerzielle Apotheken ist größtenteils zusammengebrochen.

 

Wir wollen möglichst vielen Menschen vor Ort helfen, indem wir Medikamente und medizinische Ausrüstung ohne Umwege und schnellstmöglich in die richtigen Hände geben.

 

Wie machen wir das?
Ich bin Fachärztin für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie und daher bevollmächtigt humanitäre Hilfe in Empfang zu nehmen. Während ich in Augsburg die Organisation übernehme, fährt mein Mann mindestens zwei mal die Woche an die polnisch-ukrainische Grenze, um alle Ressourcen, die wir bekommen können, persönlich an uns bekannten Organisationen vor Ort zu geben. Während des Fundraisings werden wir den Prozess dokumentieren und mit euch teilen.

Dear helpers,

 

Since the night of February 24, 2022, nothing in Ukraine is as it used to be. The world is shaken by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Fightings in the capital Kiev continue and other Ukrainian cities are under fire. There is war in the middle of Europe and for us even war at home. Ukraine is the place where we have family and friends we love.

 

As now especially logistics suffer, important medicines and medical utensils are missing, operations are postponed and emergencies are not treated properly. Emergency supplies through commercial pharmacies have also largely collapsed.

 

We want to help as many local people as possible by getting medicines and medical equipment into the right hands without detours and as quickly as possible.

 

How do we do that?


I am a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy and therefore authorized to receive humanitarian aid. While I do the organizing in Augsburg (Germany), my husband travels to the Polish-Ukrainian border at least twice a week to personally give all the resources we can get to organizations we know on the ground. As we fundraise, we will document the process and share it with you.
