Meditationszentrum in Laos – gemeinsam verwirklichen

Hallo, ich bin Flora (34) aus Österreich – und ich unterstütze hiermit meinen Freund Sommaiy (37) aus Laos, der seit vielen Jahren davon träumt, ein Meditationszentrum in der Natur zu erschaffen.

Sommaiy hat über 20 Jahre als buddhistischer Mönch im Theravāda-Tradition gelebt und teilt auch heute noch sein Wissen mit allen Interessierten. Nun möchte er einen Ort schaffen, an dem Stille, Bewusstsein und Gemeinschaft wachsen dürfen. Er lebt in Laos, Luang Prabang und kann jederzeit besucht werden (meditationwithsommaiy.com) für geführte Meditationen und Gespräche über Buddhismus.

Das Zentrum soll auf einem 1,5 Hektar großen Naturgrundstück entstehen – nur 20 Minuten von Luang Prabang entfernt. Dieses Stück Land hat Sommaiy bereits gefunden und begonnen zu kaufen, doch es fehlen noch 9.000 US-Dollar, um den Grundstückskauf vollständig abzuschließen.

Nach reiflicher Überlegung haben Sommaiy und ich gemeinsam beschlossen, dass er das Projekt künftig vollständig übernimmt. Ich bleibe als Partnerin im Hintergrund tätig – vor allem bei der Organisation dieser Spendenaktion.

The center is planned to be built on a beautiful 1.5-hectare piece of land – just 20 minutes outside Luang Prabang. Sommaiy has already found and begun purchasing this land, but he still needs $9,000 USD to complete the purchase.
