Truth Seeker: Medicine Songs For Gaia - Debut Album Release

The Project

This is my debut album release - a sonic fusion of Traditional Scottish storytelling, Classical musicianship, Jazz/Blues/Hip-Hop songwriting, and Mongolian Overtone Throat Singing techniques. The production aesthetic draws from 1990s underground rave culture's rich genre-blending of World/Fusion sounds.

This album consolidates over a decade of vocal research and development and creative explorations into one cohesive artistic statement. Themes explore; connection to wild spaces, ritual and ceremony, identity and place, environmental and human fragility – with a focus on the powerful medicine of our unique frequency when we allow it to be expressed.

What Your Support Funds

I am raising funds to release this album independently through my own start up label - Star Flower Sonics. This crowdfunder complements a pending Creative Scotland Open Fund application. Your contributions will cover:

• Field Recording and Studio Time – supported by Positive Ambisonics to work on samples and soundscape design

• Home Studio Equipment Upgrades – laptop and necessary accessories to connect with existing audio interface

Why This Album?

Medicine Songs for Gaia functions as both artistic statement and conversation starter, designed to easily traverse between disciplines while remaining accessible through the universal language of music. Through both my creative practice and professional development I am uniquely positioned to share work that can reach and engage with multiple spaces; connecting with music lovers, artists, researchers, clinicians and other practitioners exploring the intersection of music and medicine.

The Release Vision

The full album will be released digitally, with a staged rollout featuring three singles with music videos. If any additional funding is secured, I will pursue a limited edition vinyl pressing.

The album will be accompanied by a curated digital resource pack – an educational toolkit accessible for individuals, students, educators, organisations and institutions alike to deepen engagement with the themes, ideas and methodologies explored in this work.

About My Practice

Lise Mitchell Noble is a Holistic Vocal Practitioner based in Scotland working as a Voice Artist, Producer, Performer, Researcher and Vocal Educator. Her Creative Education business True Voice Creations is focussed on promoting Holistic Voicework as a personal development modality. She teaches from her 5 Elements of Voicework® methodology which has emerged from over 14years of practice, play and exploration.
