My dad is in intensive care at Sunnybrook hospital because he was run over on the street in Vaughan, and the Police still haven't found the person responsible; this was a hit-and-run.

My dad has always been there for me, and as soon as he had the opportunity to be here with my daughters and me when I separated from my daughters' father, he came to be present for them and me. I have always been grateful for his love, dedication, and everything he has done for my girls and me. And what is to come with what has happened to him fills me with anger and pain. He is a strong man, but at the age that he is, due to the accident he had, his recovery will be tough. He doesn't deserve what happened to him. He is my saving angel. He has been physically and emotionally present in all my life's easy and difficult situations.

And with this, I would like to request your support since my dad does not have health insurance in Canada.

The person who ran over him fled, so there is still no person responsible for the payments, but in the meantime, there are medicines and situations that arise that the hospital does not cover. And this is just the beginning. My dad has broken the spine and ribs; his lung is perforated; the doctors have it under control because he had internal bleeding, and they had to transfer blood to him. For now, they will put a cast to take care of his spine since when they wash him and change his position, they fear damaging it, thus protecting the spine and vertebrae. That, for example, is already an extra payment because an outside company prepares it.

And so, indeed, he will need medicines and other things while he remains sedated so that he does not feel the pain.

This is a complicated situation for me, I currently work with complex schedules, and my dad was here helping me with my three little daughters while I worked, now I will have to stop working for a few days to take care of him at the hospital, do all the paperwork with the lawyers and Police so that they can find the responsible for the accident. And on top of that, I have to be present for my daughters, who are already suffering from the absence of their grandfather.

Actualmente mi papi està en cuidados intensivos en el hospital Sunnybrook porque fue atropellado en una calle de vaughan y aun no han encontrado con la persona responsable.

Mi papi es un hombre que desde que conociò a mi madre entregò su vida, su ser y su todo a ella y a sus hijas. Entre ellas, yo, que soy la ùltima. Me criò desde muy pequeña, se dedicò a mi y a mi mamà por entero, pasò noches en el hospital conmigo cuando me diò asma, me despertaba en la madrugada para que no me orine en la cama, me hacìa la lonchera para el colegio ya que los horarios de mi mama eran largos y desde muy temprano. El me llevaba y recogìa de la escuela. Y asi puedo nombrar infinidad de situaciones que mi papi cumpliò su papel de padre a mi lado, hasta los 19 años me llevaba a las discotecas y recogìa por protegerme de que algo me pase. Èste hombre nunca dejò de faltarme, y apenas se tuvo oportunidad de estar aqui conmigo cuando me separè del.papa de mis hijas, se vino a estar presente para mi y para ellas. Es el amor, la dedicaciòn, siempre he sido agradecida y he valorado todo lo que hacìa por mi. Y me llena de rabia y dolor lo que està por venirse con lo que le ha sucedido. Es un hombre fuerte pero a la edad que El tiene, por el accidente que tuvo, va a ser muy dura la recuperaciòn. No merece lo que le pasò. El es mi àngel salvador. El ha estado presente fisica y emocionalmente en todos las sitiaciones faciles y dificiles de mi vida.

Con èsto quiero anunciarles que voy a necesitar de su apoyo, ya que mi papà estaba aqui con status de visitante, el que lo atropellò se diò a la fuga entonces aùn no hay responsable de los pagos pero mientras tanto hay medicinas y situaciones que se presentan que el hospital no cubre. Y èsto recien empieza. Mi papi tiene la spina dorsal quebrada y las costillas tambien, el pulmon se le perforò pero lo tienen controlado porque tuvo una hemorragia y tuvieron que transferirle sangre. Por ahora le van a poner yeso hecho a su medida para cuidar la spina dorsal, ya que cuando lo lavan y lo cambian de posiciòn temen a dañarsela, asi se le protege la espina y las vertebras de la columna. Eso por ejemplo ya es un pago aparte porque es una compañia fuera que lo prepara.

Y asi seguro va a necesitar medicinas y otras cosas que se van presentando mientras El siga sedado para que no sienta el dolor .

Para mi es una situaciòn muy difìcil, yo trabajo actualmente con horarios complicados y mi papi estaba aqui ayudandome con mis 3 hijitas pequeñas mientras yo trabajaba, ahora tendrè que dejar de trabajar algunos dias para estar pendiente lo que se necesite del hospital, ver un abogado de accidente para que encuentren al responsable y mas que nada estar presente para mis hijitas pequeñas que desde ya tambien sufren la ausencia de su abuelo.

Estamos esperando tambien que con èsto se agilite la visa de mi mamà que en èstos momentos ella està en Lima, obviamente desesperada sin poder hacer nada màs que tener paciencia y esperar.

Necesito de su ayuda, porque dejare de trabajar con permiso especial y no tendrè ingresos y mi papi al ser visitante y sin un seguro especial hay gastos que el hospital no cubre.

Les agradezco con mucho amor con lo que puedan apoyar en estos momentos a mi papi, creo que merece el apoyo de quienes lo amamos y de quienes El entregò su amistad incondicional. Quienes lo conocen saben que es un ser humano extraordinario.
