To celebrate my birthday this year, I am asking for donations to Divine Love World Charity, to sponsor medicinal trees!! These trees will be planted by Green Sakthi to create a 16-acre Siddha Medicinal Forest in South India, a very short bicycle ride from where I live.

We have a list of 500 native trees – each one of them with medicinal purposes from their flowers, bark, leaves, roots or wood. Each tree is indigenous to South India. These trees will be planted and maintained by Green Sakthi, a non-profit environmental program I am involved in. Since its inception in 1996, Green Sakthi has planted and donated 1.8 million trees locally. It has 245 staff who plant and care for trees, run a zero-waste management center and large cowshed. Green Sakthi also educates local children, connecting them to nature in a hands-on approach.

I really hope that you will consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me.

Every little bit will help me reach my goal. Thank you for supporting the trees which freely give us oxygen each day!
