Swallowing my pride here:
Due to my husbands 2nd heart attack we were left to choose between food/heat or his heart medications. His medications monthly run just under $900 a month. This is after negotiating with the drug companies. I can't get this any lower. He recently had another setback that has caused him to not be able to return to work like we had anticipated. My income alone doesn't cover all our needs plus his meds. I've never been one to ask for help, but today I am.
Entresto is a new med that costs $750 - being on COBRA insurance we don't qualify for help and have to meet the $6500 ded before prescriptions are covered.
I'm currently 2 months behind on my car payment and 2 months behind on my mortgage. I rotate these so he can have his monthly medication.
PLEASE if you can find it in you, I don't want my husband to go without his life saving heart meds.
