Medication to SAVE Roo's Life
3 days ago, we were given the heartbreaking news that our 10 month old baby kitten, Roo, may not have long due to a very uncommon, typically fast moving virus called FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).
Only 1 week ago, Roo used to play fetch, climb to the top of kitchen cupboards, help me do homework, curl up with Aaron and I and purr SO LOVINGLY, but recently, she's been a shell of herself.
We've struggled wrapping our heads around with the vet's prognosis, but we are thankful that she tipped us off about a non-FDA approved trial drug called GS (GS-441524) that CURES 95% of the cats that take treatment for a full 12 weeks.
The massive problem is that we don't have the $5,500 that will take to help her get the medication she needs to survive. From what we're seeing, we need to administer the medication now or as soon as possible to get the greatest chance of her survival as we can see the virus spreading. A daly dose of medication = $65.47. So you can see that even a donation of half a dose at $32.50 or even $10 will help!
This is a desperate plea from my Aaron and I. We can't let her die. Any little amount will help.
We are losing precious time, time which we're told we have very little of in order to try and save her life.
