Let's work together to support Syrian kids and families through Small Projects Istanbul, an NGO which is helping those displaced by the conflict in Syria rebuild their lives.

This page has been set up by Dr Sarah Cross, an Australian doctor On behalfof the Medical Mums and Mums to be (MMAMTB) facebook group as a fundraiser in support of the work of Small Projects Istanbul. 

The mission of Small Projects Istanbul is to facilitate access to formal education for Syrian refugees through its scholarship fund and to provide supplemental education that will assist families and students to succeed in Turkey and beyond, paving the way for better opportunities in the future. It also coordinates a craft collective for women to provide livelihood support.

It is currently supporting over 160 families and is entirely staffed by volunteers, ensuring 100% of donations go directly to those in need.

These funds will be spent on covering the school fees and expenses of Syrian children in Istanbul, whose families would otherwise not be able to afford to enrol and keep them in school. All donations will be directly transferred to the NGO's bank account in Turkey to be administered by the SPI team who work directly with these beneficiary famillies.
