Funeral Expenses for Firest Dennis

On Wednesday February 23rd my sweet grandpa, Firest, was brought to the ER for stomach pain. The doctors had discovered he had a “flipped” small intestine that needed to be repaired surgically. The procedure was scheduled for Thursday afternoon, and was successful. He was then moved into recovery for the next 4-5 days. Unfortunately, on Saturday night he went into cardiac arrest for about a minute and he has since been placed in the SICU on a ventilator.
He’s been surrounded by love from his immediate family since he came out of surgery on Thursday, and we will keep posting updates as we receive them for our out of town family / friends.
As of right now he is stable, sedated, and free of pain. We are waiting to hear from the cardiologist / surgeon on when they think the best time will be to try to take him off the ventilator. Our main concern is the strength of his heart.
I’ve created this page to help Joyce (his wife) with medical expenses so she can shift all of her focus to his healing. All donations go directly to her. Thank you to everyone who’s said a prayer for our sweet man. It means more to our family than you’ll ever know.
