Medical Visors - please help us help the heroes!
Using our laser engraving machines we are now donating medical visors directly to the front line.
Over the last few weeks, we have designed medical visors, which we cut out on our engraving machines, and have donated them to anyone in our community who has a need for them.
We have donated to nursing homes, a funeral home, care in the community services, a charity linked to a maternity ward, a local shop and other local key workers.
We are also in discussion with the NHS and hope to donate to them very soon.
Every day we are getting more requests, with a further 113 pending.
We have currently donated 87 visors in a very short period and have purchased materials to continue for a while.
Hundreds of development hours, as well as personal funds, have been invested to get to where we are today and now we would welcome financial donations.
This fund raising scheme will be used to meet the growing demands for medical visors during the Covid-19 crisis. We will use 100% of the funding to buy the raw materials, including acrylic sheets, elastic and acetone transparent sheets. There may also be shipping costs incurred.
