Medical trip for Roddy, my best friend and brother of heart.

Hello everyone,

My name is Luc Philippe.

I am taking the initiative to create this kitty to allow my best friend to continue his care from Paris to Réunion Island with his family.

Indeed, Roddy has a very aggressive pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in June 2024. He is currently hospitalized in Paris where he is fighting with great courage against the disease. Since the beginning of his fight, his entire family, scattered across the four corners of the world (England, Canada, Mauritius, Australia and Reunion Island) has been traveling back and forth to accompany and support him in this ordeal.

His today's wish is to continue his care in Reunion, an island very dear to his heart, since it is there that he raised his kids.

Unable to claim medical repatriation covered by Health Insurance and the cost of repatriation with a private organization amounting to between €35,000 and €40,000.

This kitty would allow to finance his ticket as well as his daughter, Soha, who would assist him during the flight.

Currently, it is essential for him to travel lying down, due to his pain... I would therefore like to be able to finance a first class trip.

The situation is very urgent, because there is only have a window of 2 weeks maximum to have him transferred.

His condition having recently stabilized. This is why I allow myself, with great modesty and distress, to make this appeal for help and solidarity.

As his health could deteriorate at any time, it is very important to be able to fulfill his wish.
