Medical treatments for Stage 4 lung cancer
My father is a very selfless man who means so much to my family. Two years ago I lost my mother to suicide, and since then things have never really been the same. Speaking solely for myself, my dad has been my sole support system and best friend helping me to process and cope with such a sudden loss.
My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in January of 2019 and my heart has been breaking ever since. He is a hard worker, who can no longer do that because of his illness. With this, he is unable to pay for all of his medical treatments.
My father has health insurance, but it does not completely pay for his Chemotherapy or Radiation treatments. We have tried applying for other methods of subsidization and insurance to help pay for what my father can not and have been denied every time regardless to the fact that he is unable to work
I do not like to ask for help, nor does anyone in my family, but I am having such a hard time seeing my father struggle to pay his bills, or for food, while trying to pay for his medical treatments that are extending his life.
My father is my best friend. He is my daughter's whole world, and he means everything to my family. One more day spent with him is a blessing, and these treatments are giving us just that.
