Dragi prieteni,

Nu am crezut niciodată că voi ajunge să scriu aceste rânduri. Mereu am încercat să fiu omul care zâmbește, care ajută, care crede în oameni și în bine. Astăzi însă, viața mă pune în fața celei mai grele lupte pe care o poate duce un om: lupta pentru a ramane viu ! Viața îmi mai oferă un ultim dans pe acest pământ… o ultimă șansă de a mai rămâne lângă cei pe care îi iubesc. Iar cel mai greu gând pentru mine este că am un băiat pe care îl iubesc mai mult decât orice pe lume și pentru care vreau să mai trăiesc, să îl văd crescând, să îi fiu alături, să îl pot îmbrățișa și mâine.

Am fost diagnosticat recent cu adenocarcinom pulmonar ROS1 pozitiv, o formă rară și agresivă de cancer pulmonar care s-a răspândit la ambii plămâni. După multe investigații și consultații, medicii mi-au recomandat începerea urgentă a unui tratament numit Rozlytrek (Entrectinib), tratament care îmi poate oferi o șansă reală de a continua această luptă.

Din păcate, costurile tratamentului, analizelor, consultațiilor și deplasărilor sunt uriașe și depășesc posibilitățile mele financiare. Nu este ușor să cer ajutor… poate este cel mai greu lucru pe care l-am făcut vreodată. Dar astăzi aleg să mă agăț de speranță și de bunătatea oamenilor.

Orice prieten mi-a fost ca un frate. Am iubit și am crezut în toată lumea, nu am făcut rău nimănui, însă Dumnezeu mă pune acum la cea mai grea încercare a vieții mele.

Dacă puteți și simțiți să mă ajutați, orice gest contează enorm:

– o distribuire a acestui mesaj

– o rugăciune sau un gând bun

Poate pentru unii este doar un mesaj pe internet, dar pentru mine poate însemna timp… speranță… viață.

I never imagined I would find myself writing these words. I have always tried to be the kind of person who smiles, who helps others, and who believes in people and the good in the world. Today, however, life has confronted me with the hardest battle a person can face: the fight to stay alive! Life is offering me one last dance on this earth—one final chance to remain by the side of those I love. The hardest thought of all is that I have a son whom I love more than anything in the world; I want to keep living for him—to watch him grow, to be there for him, and to be able to hug him again tomorrow.

I was recently diagnosed with ROS1-positive lung adenocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of lung cancer that has spread to both lungs. After numerous tests and consultations, doctors have recommended that I urgently begin treatment with a drug called Rozlytrek (Entrectinib)—a treatment that could give me a real chance to continue this fight.

Unfortunately, the costs associated with the treatment, tests, consultations, and travel are enormous and far exceed my financial means. Asking for help isn't easy—it may well be the hardest thing I have ever done. Yet today, I choose to hold on to hope and to the kindness of others.

Every friend has been like a brother to me. I have loved and believed in everyone, and I have never harmed anyone; yet now, God is putting me through the greatest trial of my life. If you are able and willing to help me, every gesture makes a huge difference:
