Medical Treatment for Tarryn

I am a 24 year old woman living with a life altering disorder. My diagnosis is Functional Neurological Disorder and it has changed me from an active heathy person into someone who has difficulty performing ordinary daily tasks.

Even though I am a college graduate with a 97% average, I cannot put my education to work until I have gone through treatment for FND.

Due to my condition, I cannot work and have been living with my Mom. My Mom does not have the resources to cover all of the costs associated with my condition.

My medical expenses have been over $30,000 over the last three years. These expenses involved diagnostic testing such as MRI's at private clinics, botox injections into my body to stop the spasms, dental specialists because I could not open my jaw and it was very painful to chew my food, physio treatments because I had difficulty walking and moving my right arm, travel expenses, accommodation and a neurologist's consult outside of province.

My suffering involves extreme pain over my entire body, extreme bladder urgency, spasms, difficulty swallowing, difficulty walking, my arms freeze up sometimes and I am having difficulty seeing things. I suffer from depression as well. The depression is a result of years of living with this disorder and the loss of my Dad last August.

There are many more symptoms but the ones I have noted are the most severe.

There is treatment and it successful but I just need a little help with the costs associated with my healing journey.

There is a treatment program that we have found in British Columbia. This treatment program has been highly successful for people with this disorder but is not covered by British Columbia for people coming from another province. I live in Quebec, Canada.

Please help with whatever you can afford. I need funds for the treatment at Neuromotion in British Columbia, for accomodation, food and travel expenses.
