Dear Family & Friends,

My brother, Ritesh Goundar, son of Purshottam Goundar (Permunna) and grandson of Sanmogam Goundar of Navoli, Ba, Fiji has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer (throat cancer). Doctors at the CWM hospital in Suva have informed us that treatment options are not available in Fiji. 

The medical teams at CWM hospital have advised to seek urgent specialist medical care and treatment overseas. Ritesh will be travelling to India and the cost associated with travel and treatment is estimated to be around USD 30,000 to USD 35,000.

As the cost of treatment is too high for us to do it on our own, we are seeking assistance of our family and friends to raise funds for Ritesh’s treatment and any other related costs.

I know times are hard but if anyone is willing to assist, it will be highly appreciated.
