On behalf of Ismael's family, we started this page in an effort to help raise money for his medical treatment. Ismael was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase positive non-small cell lung cancer, which has also spread to his right lymph node.

His doctors are recommending targeted treatment (alectinib), but are not recommending chemotherapy nor radiation at this time. Unfortunately Ismael’s health insurance does not cover the cost of these very expensive pills.

In addition, the medical board at the Immunotherapy Institute in Mexico has concluded that he is a candidate for their 18-day outpatient treatment. Their comprehensive treatment plan for him includes: functional assessments, immune empowerment, systemic perfusion hyperthermia, autologous immunotherapy, non-chemo insulin potentiated therapy, detoxification, support therapy, and a home care plan. The quicker he is able to start this treatment, the better his chances are. The cost for this treatment program is $26,900, and must be paid in full before he can start.
