Medical Treatment for Family Member

This request for donation is for a very young, bright and normally active family member who has recently been diagnosed with Thyroid Eye Disease as a result of Graves' Disease.  One of her eyes does not close at all.  As such, sleeping with it open has been a real challenge,  thus causing excessive dryness of the eye. Her condition is progressing rapidly and adequate treatment is not currently available.  Whatever treatment she is receiving has been having debilitating side effects.  She will have to travel to the US for appropriate treatment which can last several months and each treatment is exorbitantly costly.  The medical bills are already piling up and are financially draining.
