Hello, my name is Jacquline and I'm from the United States trying to help my friend Ahmed who needs medical treatment for himself and an evacuation for his family in Gaza, Palestine. I'm hoping to help him get medical treatment as well as raise funds to get his family out of Gaza. I have asked him to explain his story himself which is below. I am Ahmed from Gaza, Palestine. I am married and have a child, 5 1/2 years old and I am in need of evacuation for medical treatment. On August 9th 2023,I had a thermal frequency operation on the lower back, neck, and knee, due to the intense pressure on the vertebrae and discs. The operation was completed successfully, in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and a few days later I returned to the Gaza Strip, in order to rest for a period of 6 months in order to complete the success of the operation. Unfortunately, only two months and 7 days had passed since I had rest, and the Israeli terrorist war broke out on the Gaza Strip. We began the process of displacement from one place to another, and we have been displaced approximately 4 times from from Khuza'a to Bani Suhaila, then from Bani Suhaila to Khan Yunis, then Khan Yunis to Rafah, and now from Rafah to Mawasi Khan Yunis.

There was no relief at all, and I ran out of medications and no one has been able to provide them. The displacement and war made everything worse and not only could I not help and provide for myself I also cannot provide for my family or keep them safe. The pain returned and was the most severe because of the pressure on the vertebrae in my lower back and neck required me to travel again to Egypt. My friend from the Netherlands helped me launch a donation link and after about two months, with the help of friends and followers, money was collected for travel and I left Gaza in 4/25/2024 for treatment.

After I made financial coordination to leave Gaza, I arrived in Egypt and met with the doctor. He told me that I should return to medication for limited periods. The examination was done again, and unfortunately I feel unbearable pain. I collected money through my friend in the Netherlands. I traveled with it, received treatment, bought medicines, and also tried to take my family out of Gaza, but the money was not enough for travel, as well as my treatment expenses and providing my family’s supplies that I left behind in Khan Yunis.

For this reason, I am trying to collect donations again for my continued treatment and much needed surgery on my neck and back. Also the funds will be used for my family in Gaza to restore what was destroyed in our home which is everything. I am also trying to be reunited with my family and I worry about their safety but evacuating them is very expensive at $5000 per person. The rest of the funds will be used to establish us in Egypt once my family arrives. Every donation you make means a lot to me. I really appreciate this.
