Hello, I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of the most amazing daycare provider and friend, Delfina. She is someone who puts her entire heart and soul into caring for our children every day and now is going through a life changing event. It would be such a blessing if you could help raise us funds to assist with her out of pocket medical expenses
Delfina had her first surgery to remove a lump found on the top of her head a few weeks ago. At that time, the surgery was thought to be a success and she would only have one more surgery to install a plate on her head from damage caused by the tumor. She went back for a second surgery for the doctors to find that more lumps had returned. After a scan, they determined it was an aggressive cancer, lymphoma, that would need aggressive chemotherapy so she can have a fighting chance.
Her medical treatment is being conducted in Mexico and she is set to start chemotherapy this week. Delfina has been such a monumental person in our lives and I would really appreciate it if you could share this fundraiser so that she can continue medical treatment and not have the burden of financial stress.
