Financial Support for The See Family

Hi Friends and Family of the See Family! My name is Gina Gallagher and I wanted to extend an invite to you in the support of Ashley, James and their four sweet kiddos: Jack, Abra, Sam & Daniel. Please read the message below from Ashley:

Hello friends. I was diagnosed with a benign meningioma brain tumor at the beginning of September. The good news about this tumor is that it's non-cancerous. The bad news is it's in a location that is difficult to get to. In the words of my primary care physician and neurosurgeon in Missoula "It's in a bad spot," (never something you want to hear from a neurosurgeon). I will need surgery to remove most of the tumor, but since the tumor is pressing up on some very critical arteries, it may not be removed in its entirety. Montana does not have the level of surgeon I require, so we will be moving to Lubbock, TX temporarily where I can receive excellent care, and where James's family is located who can provide support to James, myself and our four kiddos.

My initial consultation with the neurosurgeon in Lubbock is October 10th. At that time, we will be able to make a more concrete plan for surgery and additional treatment, including rehab and radiation to zap any remainder of the tumor. Hospital recovery time will be about one week, and recovery at home an additional five weeks.

At this point, we're facing a lot of unknowns but what we do know is that we will need help with travel expenses and lost income. James will be able to do some work with his brother while in Texas, but will need to take time off to care for me and the kids. The downside of owning your own business is that you don't have vacation or sick leave.

Any contribution you can make is so greatly appreciated, as well as any prayers you can spare. We'll be keeping you all in our prayers as well! God is good and we know that He will carry us through this struggle and draw us closer to him through the difficulties.
