Hello Everyone,

My name is Tamara; my granddaughter, Hannah, in 2 weeks time has gone from a healthy, active, 18-month-old to undergoing emergency surgery to remove a life-threatening tumor on her pituitary. In addition to the worry and concern for Hannah, Mom and Dad are facing expenses for Hanna's helicopter transport from Maine to Boston Children's Hospital, travel, food, and medical expenses not covered by their insurance. Both parents' places of employment do not provide paid leave, so they are not earning an income during this time.
