It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved mother and loving wife, Cristina Dago-oc. We're so grateful for the way we were raised. She was never afraid to be our mother — to put her foot down, to teach us right from wrong, to make sure we tried our best. She always let us know we had a mama who cared about us, who believed in us, who was there for us no matter what. We will keep her alive through our stories. Thank you so much everyone.

Update: As sad as it is, unfortunately, my mom is at her end of life care here at Burnaby Hospital. My family here are all taking the time off to spend time with her. Please pray for her final moments to be filled with love and serenity, as she peacefully enters into the eternal rest. May the Lord, grant her a serene transition, free from pain, and may her spirit find solace in his loving arms. Thank you so much everyone!

Hi, My name is Emma, I have a sick mom and I have two lovely daughters under 5 and a loving husband, and I am the daughter of Cristina Dago-oc, who is battling Endometrial Cancer Stage 4 for the past 3 years that has metastasized to her lungs and kindneys. All though we are very much thankful that we get her treatments free, but with transportation, and living costs here in Vancouver is too much for the moment. We would like to ask for your help and any amount will be very much appreciated. These past 4 years have been very difficult for us, we've had atleast 3 family hospitilazations from here and the Philippines and haven been financially struggling since. She has been in and out of the hospital since January of 2025 and stayed for almost 2 months there. My mom, Cristina, is a beacon of unwavering love and support, a pillar of strength who navigates life's storms with grace, and a constant source of inspiration, always encouraging us, her 5 kids to reach for our dreams with a gentle yet firm hand; her infectious laughter and warm embrace make her the most cherished presence in our lives. We are very heart wrenched because she has suffured so much in this lifetime and seeing her this weak just breaks our heart as she is a very wonderful, kind, giving, and loving person.
