A chronic, extreme eating disorder (anorexia nervosa) has left me with very few treatment options. A children's hospital on the other side of the country has offered to stabilize me when other programs have referred to hospice. I want to live. My acceptance to this hospital depends on me being medically transported, as the doctors who oversee the program do not feel comfortable with commercial air at a very low body weight. Funds will be used exclusively to pay the $20,000 out of pocket fee the air ambulance company has quoted. A gracious and loving family member is covering half of this fee. Thank you for reading.
