Kevin and Kristina have three of the most beautiful, smile-igniting, genuinely sweet children you’ll ever meet. In May of 2022, they received the devastating news that Sully, their youngest son, was diagnosed with an extraordinary rare generic disorder called Xia-Gibbs Syndrome. Xia-Gibbs is neurodevelopmental disorder, which means it affects the brain and influences the way the individual develops and functions.

Xia-Gibbs is so exceedingly rare and recently discovered than testing, therapies and treatments are extremely expensive, experimental and arduous.

Sully’s mutation of his AHDC1 gene (the marker for Xia-Gibbs) is often present in siblings, so this campaign also supports the necessary testing for Sully’s siblings.
