Terri has always been an outgoing, fun-loving, caring, and independent woman. Terri & I were thrilled about our new venture to Arizona.....
But so much changed for my lovely wife. She went in for a routine doctor visit (thank God she was where she was) she started complaining of chest pain and past out. They had to med flight her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with a serious heart condition that can rapidly lead to death.
Triple aortic dissection, the statistics weren't very optimistic, of all people with aortic dissection; 40% die immediately and do not reach a hospital in time. Even after diagnosis, 5-20% die during surgery or in the immediate postoperative period.
Thankfully Terri made it through the surgery, thank goodness!! Yet, A second surgery was needed on lower aorta, which she made it through that one too :) Unfortunately one last surgery is needed, that to repair her vocal cords, those were damaged with the first surgery.
Needless to say there have been many hurdles (mentally, physically, and emotionally) to overcome, but she is hanging in there. She has been unable to work and with me taking off work to assist her we are struggling finacially; both with medical bills and with simply day to day living expenses.
We don't like asking for help but we don't know where else to turn and are humbly reaching out for your help...any donation would be appreciated!!!!
From the bottom of our hearts, we THANK YOU for your consideration and your generosity.
