Simone Besutti is an exemplary horseman and a much-respected member of our U.S. and European equestrian communities. In May, Simone suffered a serious riding accident resulting in a rare, compound (open) pilon fracture to his leg with serious damage to his ankle joint.

The injury has so far required multiple surgeries, with months of intensive rehab yet to come. As you can imagine, the medical bills Simone faces are daunting, and as a professional rider and trainer, his income stream has been substantially impacted by this event.

Please join Simone's friends and fellow equestrians in supporting him through this very difficult time. His fundraiser was created by Nina Fedrizzi and organized by his employer, Nicki Simpson of Riffle Hitch, on behalf of Simone, who will be the primary recipient of the funds.
