As some of you know, my dad, Jose, has been been cancer free for ten years in remission. He has had two unsuccessful surgeries in hopes to remove the cancer but a third successful procedure came. Despite undergoing numerous procedures, doctors have found that it’s back, aggressive, and may be stage four oral cancer. In order to to receive the necessary treatment, he’s being referred to Hawaii for surgery and further treatment. I’ll be there as his escort.
