Please join us in helping to raise funds for medical care for my sister-in-law, Elvera. She was recently re-diagnosed with triple-negative-breast-cancer(TNBC).  TNBC is a complex, aggressive disease and it is back with a vengeance for this warrior of a woman. 

Not only is TNBC a ferocious disease, it is an awfully expensive fight.  All resulting in overwhelming costs for the family.


A little backstory here--Elvera has been married to my big brother Jason for twelve years and lives in Austin, Texas. They have two phenomenal little girls--Camilla who is 3 and Amelia who is 1. 


Elvera has fought this fight like a champ from the beginning. She completed all the recommended conventional treatments when first diagnosed including chemo, radiation and series of surgeries-all while raising babies and working as a CPA. 

I say without hesitation she is the toughest woman I know.


Treatment IS possible and available and Elvera is ready to fight like she never has before. The treatment she needs, at this point, is an integrative oncology treatment that will tackle the disease at all possible angles. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance and come with an upfront cost of close to $100,000.  

The ask here is twofold--first and foremost to come alongside our family and join us in this fight. Elvera knows she has many people fighting alongside her--in prayer, in thought, in words of wisdom--and she feels it deeply and considers it an essential part of her treatment.
