Dear family and friends,

Two weeks ago, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather was admitted to Rebagliati Hospital in Lima, Peru with severe pneumonia. At first, he was improving slowly, but over the following days his condition worsened, and he needed to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Given the urgency of his situation, the lack of immediate availability at the hospital, and the medical negligence he had experienced there, we decided to transfer him to a private clinic, where he is in the ICU on mechanical ventilation.

Many of you know him and can attest to the kind-hearted person he truly is. He has always found joy in helping others and offering support to those in need. It's this same generosity that now inspires us to come together for him in this challenging time.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to manage the mounting medical expenses, but the costs of ICU care are exceptionally high and continue to rise daily due to the complexity of his treatment. He also suffers from heart failure and prostate cancer.
