Hi, my name is Toby.

I'm a 38 year old deaf man that got disabled, by falling off the roof while working. 4 years ago my spine from T-5 to $T-10 was shattered. This left me paralyzed from chest down. I have no means of transportation in either a truck or car. The reason is I don't have a correct van for transportation because my power chair is closed to 370lbs and it's also a huge struggle to get into other vehicles from my dad having a bad back. I usually travel with my power chair when it's nice out and when it's some place close by. I now have problems making it to my medical appointments due to lack of transportation and a decent ramp to get myself inside a wheel chair accessible van. It's the last thing I need so I can travel again, show up to appointments, to the hospital as well. I also need an appropriate bed. My insurance doesn't cover the right bed for me. I need a hospital like bed that's usually used to palliative care. I cannot walk, I also have trouble transferring from bed to chair. With these funds, it'll help me get the appropriate medical and transportation needs that I need.
