Hi friends! This October, Luke and I have the incredible privilege of joining a medical mission trip to Los Esclavos, Guatemala! I’m currently in my second year of medical school, and I’ll be traveling alongside 21 fellow medical students, physicians, and healthcare workers.

Luke—whose family lived in Ecuador for five years as missionaries—will be serving as our Spanish medical translator!! I love seeing how his childhood experiences are now being used to glorify the Lord in such a tangible way!

We’ll be working in a medical clinic run right out of a local woman’s home. She has faithfully partnered with our attending physician for years to provide ongoing care. Our team’s priority will be screening patients for needed surgeries, connecting them with follow-up care, and meeting urgent medical needs.

Students are responsible for fundraising for all the medications we will bring to Guatemala and additional supplies. I greatly appreciate any prayers for this trip and donations if you are able. Thank you for your help!
